Denobula is the planet native to the race who refer to themselves as Deobulan.

Denobula is a planet and the homeworld of the Denobulan species. Located in the Denobula Triaxa system, the planet has a single large, inhabited continent.

The planet is heavily populated, with approximately 12 billion inhabitants in 2152. (ENT: "The Catwalk") The cities are quite crowded by necessity, though Phlox noted that the atmosphere was "vibrant, communal". (ENT: "Doctor's Orders")

In 2152, Phlox requested information on Pa'nar Syndrome from the Vulcan Doctor Yuris, claiming it was on behalf of a colleague on Denobula studying thymic sclerosis. (ENT: "Stigma")

In 2153, a group of Denobulan scientists studied a system of caves on the planet Xantoras, seeking to avert seismic disasters on Denobula. (ENT: "The Breach")

The Kaybin District is an area on Denobula known for its nightclubs, sometimes called "Kaybin bars", where during the Denobulan mating season one may find intimate companion(s) in a short time.

In 2151, Doctor Phlox recommended the riverside Kaybin bars in a letter to his Interspecies Medical Exchange colleague Dr. Jeremy Lucas on Denobula. (ENT: "Dear Doctor")

In 2153, Phlox mentioned Lucas' experiences in the Kaybin District in another letter, when talking about his occasional loneliness on Enterprise and his desire to be with other Denobulans again. (ENT: "Doctor's Orders")
