The Hunter starship Ne'Q was first encountered by the [[USS Rosenante]] inside the [[The Harvester|Harvester]] in mid-2408. 

the Ne'Q is believed to be typical of her class of vessel, although she was severely damaged and in need of repair by the time that the Rosenante encountered her.

She was commanded by First Hunter Dretron Dash.

Armament: Eighteen ship-mounted paramimic cannons; one large forward paramimic cannon; three phased torpedo launchers. 

The paramimic particle had the unusual ability to cause the shield polarity of most tactical shields to reverse, rendering them subject to allow transporter beams to bypass the vessel's shields. It is also suspected that it may cause the target vessel's tactical shields to be rendered either completely ineffective, or at least severely reduced in effectiveness.
