Thinn has been particularly preoccupied with the situation of [[Quezal]]. Supposed to join the Federation, the [[Quezalth]] had surprisingly decided to rather join economically the [[Romulan]] Empire therefore allowing the very precious [[Aeghon]] to fall in the hands of a potential adversary. With a group of scientists, he theorized Aeghon was one of the mineral critical to produce Thalaron Radiation. He was the first to alarm Starfleet Command of the potential risk the Romulan Empire could be trying to rebuild Scimitar-class ships. However, his concerns were premature as the planet [[Quezal]] suffered from a mysterious antimatter explosion which, reacting with the Aeghon in the planet crust, caused a chain reaction that killed millions of Quezalth and the Aeghon on the planet. | |||
Following the incident, the Vice-Admiral took over the investigation on [[Quezal]] to find out what really happened.
