Vulcan is a planet in the 40 Eridani System and homeworld of the humanoid Vulcans, a founding member of the United Federation of Planets. Another name for it is Vulcanis. Vulcan is 16 lightyears from Earth.

Moon(s)

The Vulcan homeworld has no moons. However, it does have one close planetary companion, a small planet known as Charis.

Political

Vulcan is a carter member of the Federation. It was one of many Federation worlds to rebel against the regime of Admiral Doenitz during the Federation Civil War.
