Arboria Prime

The Class M planet Arboria Prime is located in the Alpha Regnus System and is the homeworld of the non-humanoid Arborians and the Turine. The leader of the planetary government is called the Elder. Arboria Prime has a slightly higher gravity than Earth and boasts a good cloud cover about forty five percent of the time due to its farther orbit from its bright hot sun. Lush vegetation and good plant growth have allowed the Arborian culture to develop here.

Ecology[edit]

The planet possesses an ecology that is unlike most other class M worlds. The atmosphere is rich in both Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide and is teeming with life. Most noticeable about the planet's various life is the Arborians. These Senient plants are not only intelligent and capable of wonderous feats of art poetry and ingenuity, but unlike most other celluoid lifeforms, they are mobile.

This has allowed them to completely explore their world.

The planet is teeming with life at every level, although the largest animals on the planet are roughly the size of a Terran housecat. There are few herbivores, and those that do exist are limited in their diet to lesser order floras such as garsses and ferns.

There is a second Sentient life form believed to be native to the planet. They are called the Turine. It is unclear if they are turly evolved from Arboria Prime or if they simply have chosen the planet as part of their reproductive cycle.

They are considered Space-dwelling entities, although they seem to return to the skies of Arboria Prime to breed.
