The [[B'zz'tz]] are a incorporeal energy creature that was first encountered by the Crew of the [[USS Rosenante]] during thier entrapment aboard [[The Harvester]].

The B'zz'tz communicate through a series of flashing lights, which made it difficult for the crew of the Rosenante to eventually establish communication with them.

The B'zz'tz were observed by all the other inhabitants of the Bone yard, but were explained away as a side effect from some sort of scanning device.  This is understandable as the B'zz'tz seem to be aware of their surroundings by transmitting and receiving the same wavelengths of radiations as a standard [[Tricorder|tricorder]]. These radiations are harmless to others, but grants the B'zz'tz the ability to intake a wide variety of information by slightly altering these radiations. they have no need of Life support and can surive the harsh environments of Space travel without care or a vessel.

It would also seem that the B'zz'tz are very old. their exact age is unknown, but the Prime commented that he had been studying the Harvester for Aeons indicating a very long life span.

Additionally, the B'zz'tz can alter the types of radiation they admit into a more dangerous form, allowing for their self-preservation if threatened.

The Body of the B'zz'tz is intangible and is believed to be only partially in phase with Normal space. It is believed that the B'zz'tz can alter their Phase Variance at will, allowing them to pass through solid normal matter. They can not pass through energy fields particularly forcefields in this manner, although given enough time, they can change their body modulation to allow them to pass harmlessly through such a field at a latter time. Randomization of the field harmonics prevents this. The colors of the B'zz'ts seem to be unique to each individual. It appears that they can alter their colors very little, although they can change the turbulence and surface patterns at will. It is possible that Coloration may play a factor in communication between B'zz'tz.

The B'zz'tz seem to be a peaceful race who have dedicated their existence to the exploration of the known universe. They Normally observe from a claoked or out of phase state, but when they were faced with the realization that other sentient species were at risk of death as a result of being trapped in [[The Harvester]] they were compelled to reveal themselves and attempt to communicate.

At various times, they have attempted contact with the [[Hur'q]], The [[Nechani]], the [[Kobali]], the [[Sky Spirits]], and the [[Hunters]] and the crew of the [[USS Epiphany]]. It was not until the arrival of the [[USS Rosenante]] in 2408 that they were finally able to establish limited communication and assist in the rescue of those trapped within the Bone Yard.

The B'zz'tz describe themselves as Explorers.

Additionally, they have stated that thier complete name is impossible to translate completely from their language, therefore they have chosen to be known as the B'zz'tz.

The apparent leader of the B'zz'tz was known as "The Prime". His companions both Identified themselves as "The Subprime". it is unclear if this is a name, a title or a designation. For ease of reference the Rosenante Crew dubbed the Subprimes as "The First Subprime" and "The Second Subprime"
