The B'zz'tz were observed by all the other inhabitants of the Bone yard, but were explained away as a side effect from some sort of scanning device.  This is understandable as the B'zz'tz seem to be aware of their surroundings by transmitting and receiving the same wavelengths of radiations as a standard [[Tricorder|tricorder]]. These radiations are harmless to others, but grants the B'zz'tz the ability to intake a wide variety of information by slightly altering these radiations. They have no need of Life support and can survive the harsh environments of Space travel without care or a vessel.
