Personnel Profile[edit]

Christian Soval Brownlee was the Assistant CONN Officerof the USS Paladin (NCC-52776) during the Federation Civil War of the early 25th century.

Service Record[edit]

Pre-Starfleet History[edit]

Christian was born on April 21, 2382, to Nara and Matthew Brownlee, in Boston, on Earth.Christian's birth into the Brownlee family in 2382 was marred by great tragedy: the death of his mother, Nara during childbirth. Though the situation was beyond his control, Christian ever since has blamed himself for her death, but there was nothing the doctors could do, except try to save him. This dominated his childhood, but he was bolstered by his brother, Joran, and was able to recover and have a rather normal childhood.

He attended Methuen High School with his brother, and graduated at the top of his class in 2400. He immediately enrolled in Starfleet Academy, majoring in Stellar Navigation, and minoring in Exo-linguistics.

Academy Life[edit]

Cristian entered Starfleet Academy right out of high school in 2400. Majoring in Stellar Navigation, he took many command courses and served as helmsman under his brother Joran during the Kobayashi Maru simulation in late 2403, sharing the distinction with the other cadets in the simulation of being the first to beat the notorius no-win scenario without cheating.

His personal life on campus was just as glorified. Being one of the more intelligent members of his class and one of the most approachable, he quickly became Big Man on Campus. He, on top of maintaining nearly a perfect score, had many different romances with other cadets while there, most notably Josephina de la Cruz in 2402.

He graduated Class of 2404 along with his brother, and quickly enlisted in Advanced Officer Training. He was put through many rigorous courses, and took well to all of them, much to the surprise of upper classmen and the administrating officers. When he graduated, he was given the rank of Ensign, junior grade, and was assigned to Starbase Geneva (NCC-85745).

Starbase Geneva.

Christian arrived on Starbase Geneva (NCC-85745) in the middle of the terrorist crisis of mid-2406. When the crisis was resolved, he was reunited with his brother, who was a semester ahead of him, and immediately began catching up with each other. Three months after the bombing, the decision came from Starfleet to abandon Starbase Geneva (NCC-85745. Joran, along with the majority of the crew of the Geneva, was transferred to the USS Paladin (NCC-52776), under the command of Captain Eva Straton. The new ship's first mission was one of the first war maneuvers against Doenitz and his forces: the invasion and occupation of the Gamma Sigma system, which contained two strategically important colonies to the52nd fleet. Leading a battle group and with the help of the Dragon Slayer and Fighting Whatever fighter squadrons, the system was easily taken. Because of his involvement in the battle, Christian was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon.

On the present mission, Christian plays a crucial role. This is the role of helmsman of the USS Hope (NCC-75386), a ship the Paladin crew is using as a "Trojan Horse" ploy to gain access into the inner system, where the starbase lies.

Medical Record[edit]

Christian has been an outdoorsman his entire life, and is therefore in terrific shape. The only anomaly to his medical record is the fact that he had broken his arm after falling out of a tree, and the arm healed itself without any medical treatment. It is believed that he was able to concentrate on healing, as many Vulcans can. However, such a rapid healing has never been heard of.

Personal Life[edit]

Joran Matthew Brownlee[edit]

Christian's relationship with his brother is more like the relationship between twins. They seem to be, according to many people that they know, almost on the same wavelength with each other, sometimes even finishing each others' sentences, especially when they were younger. After their mother, Nara died, and Christian became old enough to understand his role in her death, he sank into a deep depression. Only his older brother was able to pull him out of it, and because of that, they have been friends ever since.

Psychological Profile[edit]

At first glance, Christian, he seems optimistic, lucky, and out going if slightly unrealistic at times, and he does come across to others as honest, direct and enthusiastic. Sometimes his frankness is a touch too upfront for more thin-skinned companions. In general other people are naturally drawn to his bouncy personality. He always looks for the silver linings and blessings in even the trickiest of situations. However, as one gets to know him, one sees that he is a communicative, detached, strongly independent personality with a witty, inventive mind, and a quirky outlook on life. Safety in numbers is often his motto since he is wary of too much intimacy. Large groups of people around make him much more relaxed than claustrophobic twosomes. His airy, chatty approach to life at times can make him appear emotionally cool or detached, but he prefers it that way. Close relationships do try his patience so he needs an independent mate who gives him space. He will keep his own friends even after he has committed himself to a long term relationship. Domesticity is not his ideal, since he loathes drudgery and is not inherently practical. Basically a hippie at heart, he cares little what others think and blithely walks his own path. He is a born radical, pioneer or rebel. Despite a really stubborn streak he is often seen as amazingly tolerant since he's humanitarian at heart and exceptionally good with friends. He has a real sense of the great brotherhood of mankind and wants to make a better society in which independence and freedom are the keynotes. He can also be sociable, tactful, a good communicator, diplomatic and keen to maintain harmony at all costs. Balance is what really nurtures him in all things, though sometimes he can swing to extremes in the effort to find it. Having a close partner is vital to his well-being. He prefers well-mannered people, elegant occasions and loathes the great unwashed in life. Extravagances and indulgences make him glow so he needs to find a partner who can support him materially. His appetite veers towards rich, sweet or fattening food though he always likes to look trim. At times he may try to accommodate others' needs or be agreeable to the extent that he appears not to have strong opinions of his own. He is a little too sensitive to other's opinions of him and needs to stand steady when pushed too far.
