The [[Irrol]] are a nomadic [[humanoid]] species. Their [[planet]] of origin is unknown. 

They have not made contact with the [[United Federation of Planets]], although they are known to the [[Tholian]]s and the [[Romulan]]s. They are often employed by both species as general laborers.

They are telepathic.

==Mirror Universe==

The [[Irrol]] were known to the [[Klingon-Cardassian Alliance]] by 2376, The [[Cardassian]]s had discovered that the Irrol were susceptible to certain types of telepathic conditioning and had begun a project in that year to experiment on the [[Irrol]].

They captured an Irrol Nomad vessel, and forcibly moved the ship's inhabitants to [[Monor Base]]. There they began a series of Experiments on them.

Tuvok and William Riker, discovering the nature of the Irrol capture interceded on their behalf, allowing them to escape.
