Forte: Foremost expert on Vulcanoid species in the Beta Quadrant.

Academic History: Jerrico always showed an aptitude for language, even at a young age.  In his late teens, he had familiarised himself with the Vulcan language, and it was this familiarity that drew his interest to the rest of the vulcanoid species across the alpha and beta quadrants.

From a very young age, Jerrico showed an aptitude for language.  As such his parents always pushed him toward being an expert linguist.  By his early teens he was familiar with almost every earth language, at least seven of them fluently.  Tutored privately, Jerrico received the very best his parents could afford.  Experts from all over the planet were shipped in to tutor the young boy.  When given the chance, Jerrico opted to learn languages from other worlds, and by his late teens he was fluent in the Vulcan language.  Fascinated by the language, and keen to learn more, Jerrico was given a scholarship at an academy on Jaydon IV, located just a few light years from Vulcan.  Here he learnt many things about Vulcan culture and history, and soon an insatiable appitite for knowledge was born.

"That's a stupid question! I am the foremost expert on Vulcanoid species in this quadrant you know."

Early Days

A Shift in Interest

By his early twenties, Jerrico’s interests had shifted to those species of the Beta Quadrant that had links with the Romulan Star Empire, though even during this era, there was limited information for him to research.

Traversing the Stars

Spending much of his later twenties and early thirties travelling with traders, he visited outposts and colonies of the Romulan Empire and learnt much of their culture and traditions. He also visited worlds known to be populated by the elusive Watraii, and although he has studied all there is to know about this secretive splinter race of the Romulans, he has yet to ever meet one.

A Return to Civilization

In his late thirties he returned to the alpha quadrant, where he spent a further five years researching the Debrune, the ancient race of Vulcans thought to have founded the Romulan empire.

Finally Settled

To this day, with all his academic achievements and expertise, Jerrico is an ambassador for the Federation. Although he normally spends much of his time on Vulcan, he has now been asked to head talks with the Romulan Praetor, and if possible to create a new era of peace between the two galactic super-powers.
