The outskirts of Kondalka Village

Kondalka Village is a small medieval era village located on the planet Iradon. The Village was home to a strongbed of political and religious rebels led by the Priestess of Alazara, Bowen.

In 2407, members of the crew from the USS Boudicca arrived in the village under the guise of wealthy merchants. After being attacked by a priest loyal to the ruling noble house for slighting his status, the away team encountered Bowen who came to their aid.

The town possessed the oldest temple to Alazara which in turn housed an ancient Iconian artifact that was discovered by Lieutenant Matthew McLaren. The discovery of the device was a significant clue to some of the more technical aspects of the away team's problems on the planet, specifically those centered around their malfunctioning equipment.

Matthew was able to determine that the artifact was capable of enhancing the telepathic powers of any telepaths in the area, including Eva Straton as well as extend their relative range. The device also acted as a sort of Phase Discriminator which allowed the equipment carried by the away team to work within a very close proximity to the device.

This information later allowed McLaren to modify the systems of the Danube Class Runabout Rameses to work within the quantum field of the planet Iradon.

With a working shuttlecraft, the away team was able to just barely make it off the planet before it slipped back into it's own universe.

Kondalka Village was first seen in the USS Boudicca mission The Anointed
