Welcome to the Marine Database

This is the center, the very middle of the 'Thin Green Line'. Here, we set training standards and we design weapons. We test armor, and the mettle of Men and Women. We are the Teachers; and you, the Marines, are the students. Once we are done with you, you will be as never before imagined. You will be a Starfleet Marine, part of the backbone that is Starfleet Defense.

Come inside, and look around. This shall be your home for a time, until your training begins. Ask questions, learn all you can, even if the learning is painful.

The more you learn, and the more I push you to learn, the more you will learn to hate me. This is fine, I cultivate such feelings, for the more you know, the more likely it is you will survive. It is said the more you bleed in training, the less you bleed in combat.

~General Masterson, Special Marine Attaché to Starfleet Academy
