The Raven Fighter was developed by Section 31 as a means for operatives to get into highly dangerous areas, unseen while possessing the necessary firepower needed to accomplish their mission. Raven fighter pilots are among some of the most respected operatives in Section 31. Due to the nature of most of their missions and that they normally operate alone. The Raven was designed with a enhanced computer intelligence and life support monitoring systems. Allowing for self sustaining missions far longer than most fighter craft. To aid in this endeavor, the Raven has been fitted with Replicator systems and some mild comforts designed to help pass the time in deep space.

At present there is only one rumored Raven fighter Wing and that is stationed at Raven's Nest Station. Even though this is the only organized wing, there is evidence to suggest that if the Station ever came under assault all the Ravens would come to roost. All Raven Fighters are fitted with a voice recognition system that allows the pilot quicker access to ship's systems. The ships also boast a holographic "Smart HUD" That utilizes auto targeting of multiple threats.
