Starbase 718

Starbase 718 is a Federation starbase located near the Romulan Neutral Zone and a key strategic location for the defense of the Federation colonies in the upper part of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants in sector Z-6. The Starbase is located only a few light years away from Outposts 3, 4, 5 and 6, serving as a sectorial base.

The starbase also serves as the base of operation of the 23th Task Force commanded by Vice Admiral Beckett. Starfleet Intelligence also has offices there, specialized in both Romulan & Delta Quadrant Intelligence, under the supervision and command of Vice-Admiral Thinn.
