To ensure his cooperation and adherence to the Veil's dogma, [[Alaya]] decided to accompany the negotiations in person. For the Federation, [[Rank|Captain]] [[Ahmed Ibn Salid|Salid]] assigned [[Ben Soma]] to lead the delegation. On his team was [[Nayeli]], [[Parker Davis]], [[Thomas Jackson]], [[Sanok]], and [[Niambh McNulty]]. Accompanying them to represent the [[Skorr]] interests was [[Ambassador]] [[Dralar]], who had been assigned to replace his brother [[Ambassador]] Toraz.
