USA's space agency, called the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (or NASA) made a lot of important early space discoveries, which paved the way for [[Zefram Cochrane]] to invent [[Warp Drive]], which of course, paved the way for the [[Federation]] and [[Starfleet]].
