Captain Uru Mtenga

Uru Mtenga was a Starfleet Captain, assigned to the position of Commanding Officer of the USS Majesty. He was a stout and active supporter of Admiral Doenitz.

M'tenga was born in Nairobi Kenya on Earth. He served on a variety of posts and starships until eventually he seized the opportunity to support Admiral Doenitz in his bid for power. At the outbreak of the Federation Civil War Uru had been promoted to Captain and granted his first command of the USS Majesty, A Sovereign Class starship.

Uru proved his loyalty to the regime, repeatedly, first by actively participating in putting down the Andorian Resistance and then later through military action against the 52nd Fleet at Bajor and Tellar.

For his loyalty, he was assigned to the 1st Defense Force on earth, where he was granted the brevet rank of Commodore during the Battle of Sector 001. His Taskforce, Task Force Alpha, was responsible for bolstering the defenses of Starbase Valhalla and the Mars Defense Perimeter.

This position placed him directly opposing lead elite elements of the 52nd Fleet including the USS Boudicca, USS Champlain, USS Hades and the USS Nimitz. During the action his vessel focused on the enemy battle group commanded by Captain Susan Rivers commanding the USS Champlain.

Also under his direct command were the USS Hercules and the USS Persephone.

Mtenga orders his battle group into close combat with the enemy Battle Group led by the USS Champlain. After heavy fighting, the Majesty crippled the Champlain.

But fortune was not on Uru's side. When preparing to finish off the crippled enemy ship, the Majesty was attacked by the USS Hypatia after defecting to the side of the 52nd Fleet.

In the attack, Uru was killed.
