Vilox Nigo was an Irlixian male, native to the planet Irlix. He was a Senior Detective in the employ of the Special Police of the Rhone Union.

Vilox served in the Gab union military throughout the Technology Wars that plagued the planet from 2393 through 2396. He became a devout supporter of Khoda Rhone, when he assumed power in 2398.

Vilox believed in the near genocidal cleansing of the Irlixian species, most likely a result of his experiences fighting against the enemies of his beloved Gab Union.

In 2410, Vilox was promoted to rank of Senior Detective after joining the Special Police a two years earlier. He was renowned in the force for his ability to investigate complex cases with a high number of resolved cases. In 2412, his expertise would serve him well when he was selected to head up the newly created counter-espionage division of the Secret Police. His skill and fervor won out and he was relocated to Khoda City later that year.

In 2413, he received information from his electronics intelligence division that they had detected some unusual energy readings and an embedded signal inside the city. Concerned that there were spies operating in the city, so soon after the RU Military had captured the USS Bohrs, Nigo set out to track down the spies.

His investigation led him to the Hotel Votul, a reputed brothel, where he encountered his spies; members of the USS Rosenante's away team who had selected the hotel as a rally point.

A fire fight ensued when he attempted to arrest them and several members of the away team were injured, although they managed to escape. In his frustration he ordered nearly two dozen civilians murdered for collaborating with enemies of the state, and then ordered the hotel burned to the ground.

Vilox, ever tenacious, would prove to be a constant thorn in the side of the away team as they conducted their mission.
