The '''USS Nimitz''' was a Sovereign Class Starship that served as part of the [[52nd Fleet]]. On Stardate 2407.07.09, the ship was destroyed in the battle for earth, during the mission 'Blood of Angels'. At the time of it's destruction, the ship was under the command of Captain [[Devan Sash]], and First Officer Commander [[Jonas Lemar]]

During the final battle between the forces of Admiral/President [[Rodrigo Doenitz]] and the 52nd fleet, the USS Nimitz was lost. The final battle was long, and her crew fought admirably, but ultimately she was overwhelmed and he core breeched some time soon after.

Those who survived the battle will miss her dearly and we all look forward to the day that they build the next ship of this name. Long live the Nimitz.

All surviving crew members from the USS Nimitz have now been transfered to the [[USS Hades]].
