Mei Ling is a bartender in Ten Forward on the USS Spectre.

===Description===

Mei Ling is a petite Eurasian, about 5' 4" tall and weighs about 110 lbs.

===A Brief History===

Formerly the Manager of Ten Forward on the Boudicca, she then moved first  to the Mithrandir and latterly to the Spectre together with her 'pet'/companion, the psammead Tommy Tucker. Her friendly nature, good cooking and firm management of unruly customers make her bar the place to be. 

Mei Ling refers to everyone in Ten Forward by their first name, irrespective of rank. A notice may be found on the door indicating that all rank is to be left outside her domain; inside everyone is equal.

Her parents live in San Francisco, and run a popular bar/restaurant there. One uncle, deceased, who left Tommy Tucker to her care.
