==In the Mirror Universe==

Sunali II  in the mirror universe was a much different world that it was in the normal universe. It was a thriving military out post which had at one time been used as a weapons manufacturing facility y the [[Mirror Universe|IUP]]. In the mirror universe the planet was a thriving colony which also housed a significant shipyard and military installations. In this universe the planet was successful defecting in early 2408 to the the [[Cardassian]] - [[Klingon]] Alliance which captured the system.

The Rosenante visited to Sunali II several weeks later at the behest of Regent [[Admiral Doenitz|Rodrigo Doenitz]] after the planet capitulated completely with the [[Mirror Universe|Klingon-Cardassian Alliance]]. Knowing it would only be a matter of time before the KCA assemble a massive task force to launch a counter attack against the IUP, the [[ISS Rosenante]] was ordered to destroy the system while simultaneously testing the new [[Omega Device]] on the planet's sun.

This had an added tactical benefit, as the alliance had already begun using the system as a staging point for a massive task force in preparation for the an upcoming counter attack against the IUP.

The [[ISS Rosenante]] delivered the [[Omega Device]] as ordered destroying the assembling task force and destroying the [[planet]] [[Sunali II]]. The attack also flung the [[ISS Rosenante]] through a dimensional rift into our universe.
