The Sociable device was found on Sytav VII, which was a planet deep on the rim. It was the site of an archaelogical/Reverse Technologies investigation as it contained the ruins of an Inchon City. 

This planet is the site of Project Sociable, the last project run by Captain Zachary Falthgood and the discovery site of the Sociable device.
