==IMPULSE PROPULSION SYSTEM== Standard Galaxy Class Impulse drives developed and built by Theoretical Propulsion Group in conjunction with the Advanced Starship Design Bureau - Utopia Planitia Division. Each engine (there are three impulse engines, two flanking the back edge of the primary hull and one on the centerline of the secondary hull) can propel the ship at speeds just under .75c, or "maximum impulse". Full impulse is .25c (one quarter of 186,282 miles per second, which is warp one).
