The Serenity made a successful orbital dive into the ocean. After making sure nothing was damaged from the impact with the water Jay ordered a slow descent to the bottom. The sensor sweeps from orbit had already indicated that there was life in the ocean some of it about the size of the Serenity and due to the shock wave that was produced from their orbital dive they soon realised that the had caught the attention of the local aquatic life. Some of which were becoming too friendly then Jay would have licked. After increasing the rate of descent and a couple non lethal phasor shots to the ones that did not take the hint they managed to become less interesting and were left alone to continue their descent to the depths below.
