==Unexpected Developments==

Meanwhile after beaming aboard the station for a meeting with some of the station personnel, Sasha Stolev and [[Mil Nicolae]] were sequestered by members of the station's medical and security staff. These individuals were infected by some sort of previously undiscovered parasite. The two members of the Hades crew were infected.

Due to the nature of the attack, [[Rank|captain]] [[Eva Straton]] detected some sort of immediate change in her husband and had Sasha returned to the ship via emergency transporter. Mil, however was not returned to the ship due to the fact that there was no reason to consider him in any danger.

Nicolae, had, in fact, reported the medical emergency to the Hades as soon as it was apparent that the infected personnel's attempt to convert Sasha had been detected. in this way, the incident was thought to be isolated. 

To further complicate matters, the parasites were undetectable at first. They exist in a [[Phase Space|phased state]] which was beyond the immediate means of the ship's biobeds to detect. As a result the condition that afflicted Sasha was unknown.

As a precaution, captain Straton, locked down the [[USS Hades]], preventing any officers from returning to the ship, or any leaving to return to the station.

This caused a great deal of difficulty for the infected personnel aboard [[Deep Space 15]], whose plan included a potential infestation of the Hades in the hopes of spreading their influence. In addition because of the unexpected development of potential discovery by Starton in regards to the condition of her Imzadi, it was decided that she should be removed as a potential obstacle.

To this ends, the newly infected Mil Nicolae, was tasked by [[Rank|Captain]] Nelson to assassinate Straton.
