Anamitra has served on a [[Starfleet Medical]] facility at [[Luna]] during the first two years of her career as a junior member of the counseling staff.  She was then transferred through surreptitious mean, during the Civil War, to [[Starbase Geneva]] where she served on the counseling staff while she  awaited assignment on a [[starship]] with the [[52nd Fleet]]. Her father disagreed with her blatant show of resistance to Doenitz, although he understood and agreed with her reasoning. He was merely concerned for her safety and worried that Doenitz may target his family and himself for reprisals as a result of her actions.  Ana was assigned to the [[USS Hades]] in late 2407 just prior to the Battle for Sector 001.
