==A New Dilemma==

The new problem quickly presented itself in the form of the Deep Space station. Without operational control of the station, there would be no way to guarantee detection of the parasites amongst the personnel. in addition, dealing with a large number of parasites would prove problematic, especially since there was only a single modified surgical bed that was capable of removing them in existence. Another means had to be developed to  rid infected personnel of the parasites on a broader scale.
