[[Alexander Knight]] was born into section 31 following in his father's and his grandfather's foot steps.

He learned at an young age that emotions could betray him. So he has learned through many different arts to control his emotions. He rose in the ranks of Section 31 though the interrogation wing of the agency. It was said that he knew how to get any information out of anyone. Alexander is well versed in the arts on interrogation keeping on his person a copy of the [[Malleus Maleficarum]], also know as the witches hammer, from the [[Dark Ages]] of [[Earth]].

At one point Alexander was embedded at the [[Federation]] [[Starfleet Academy]] as an instructor. It was there he met a inspirational young scientist that would later become his wife. Together they plotted on a way to bring Section 31 back into a position of prominence. They learned of a small child with a special genetic trait that would later become known has the [[Signos Thread]]. 

During the [[Federation Civil War]] the experiments on the kidnapped child lead to Alexander advancing to higher ranks of Section 31. During this time he learned of a top secret installation; a battle station, known as the [[Raven's Nest Station|Raven's Nest]]. After the war and the subsequent dissolution of Section 31, Alexander moved to the station and started the rebuild of the organization placing himself at the head of the agency. Now with the firepower of the station and the backing of his wife, Section 31 now has a strong enough leader the restore the agency to it's prior glory and strive to expand their influence to new levels. The station provided a safe haven for his wife to conduct the experiments the [[Federation]] would not allow.
