[[Capella IV]] is the fourth planet in the Capella star system, known for its rich deposits of [[Topaline]]. During the 23rd century, Capella IV was position near both [[Federation]] space and the [[Klingon]] Empire. (TOS: "Friday's Child") 

Capella IV was homeworld of the Capellan people, as well as the Capellan flower and the feared Capellan power-cat. (TOS: "Friday's Child"; TAS: "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth", "The Counter-Clock Incident") 

Leonard McCoy was briefly stationed on Capella IV during the 2250s. (TOS: "Friday's Child") 

In 2267, the planet served as a pawn in the Federation-Klingon Cold War, during a trade dispute between the Klingons and the Federation over topaline mining rights. (TOS: "Friday's Child")
