[[Kavol]],  like most [[Nausicaan]]s, was extremely violent and possessive.  He had no sense of humor and had a terrible temper.  He enjoyed inflicting injury  on others during martial arts competitions.  He had lived on [[Axtis III]]  for fifteen years, participating in tournaments where he bordered on  breaking the rules on more than one occasion. He also claimed [[Marah Neru]]  as his mate, even though she showed no interest in him.  Anyone found  interacting with her in any way, came to regretted it later.  He was  murdered during a tournament and [[Rank|Lieutenant]] [[Ben Soma]] became the prime  suspect, though he was later cleared of the charges.  Marah then became  the suspect, as the murder weapon was found later in her cabin.  Starfleet officers Soma and [[Sanok]], on Axtis III for one of the tournaments, eventually solved the murder, bringing the real killer to  justice.
