Editing Pacifica

[[Pacifica]] is a [[Class O]] planet located in the [[Taurus Reach]]. It was the site of some interest to the [[United Federation of Planets]] as the potential site for colonization in 2265. The planet was visited by the [[USS Bombay]] Prior to that vessels destruction  at [[Ravanar IV]] by the [[Shedai Wanderer]].

[[Pacifica]] is an ocean planet, whose warm blue waters and fine white beaches make it a jewel in the galaxy. The USS Enterprise-D was en route to a scientific mission to Pacifica in 2364, when Captain Jean-Luc Picard diverted it to [[Dytallix B]] for a secret meeting. The stop at Pacifica was canceled due to ensuing events. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

In 2365, a conference was held on Pacifica concerning the admission of the [[Antedean]]s into the Federation. The Enterprise was assigned to transport two Antedean dignitaries to the planet, as well as Ambassador Lwaxana Troi. (TNG: "Manhunt")

==Mirror Universe==

In the [[Mirror Universe]] [[Pacifica]] was a contested world. Neither the [[Klingon Empire]] nor the [[Terran Empire]] were able to establish a colony on that world as a result of constant attacks by the other party. For a short while the [[ISS Bombay]] was assigned to protect the [[Human|Terran]] Colony there, but was drawn away in 2265 to the planet [[Ravanar IV]] where it was destroyed by the [[Shedai Wanderer]].
