Brian excelled at schoolwork and was instructed by a Vulcan Tutor named T'Vek. he was taught strong logic and science skills and it soon became apparent that he was capable of grasping complex scientific concepts.

The two boys never got along as the larger and older of the two was constantly aggressive towards his younger brother.

In 2388, Brian managed to land himself a university scolarship at Melbourne University on Earth. He worked until he could secure passage there and left Deneb with the intention to never return home.

His area of study at the university was scientific in nature. As was to be expected, he excelled in scientific pursuits, but soon became bored with his studies.

Brian took up sports and then changed his degree to Criminal Science. He graduated with honors in 2392.

He made his way to San Francisco and immediately applied for Starfleet Academy. He was accepted and began his training later that year. He specialized in Tactics and security procedures with a minor in Sciences.

He graduated the academy class of 2396, ranked 21st in his class. he was then assigned to his first Duty Assignment.

==Daystrom Institute==

Brian was assigned to the Daystrom Institute annex at [[Galor IV]] where he was part of a high energy field study. He remained there until 2398.

==USS Topeka==

Brian eventually became bored with his energy field study work and requested a transfer. He was offered the position of [[Tactical Officer|Assistant Tactical Chief]] aboard the [[USS Topeka]] a [[Nova Class]] ship.With the positional chang came a promotion to [[Rank|Lieutenant Junior Grade]].

==USS Abilon==

In 2405, a position of Chief Tactical Officer became available aboard the [[USS Abilon]] another Nova Class [[starship]]. Brian accepted the position, which included a promotion to [[Rank|Lieutenant Senior Grade]]. For a short while he also acted as the Assistant Chief Science Officer aboard that ship.

==USS Defender==

In 2407, Brain was hand-selected by [[Rank|Rear Admiral]] [[Errol Heatherby]] to serve aboard his flagship the [[USS Defender]] a [[Sovereign Class]] starship. He had met the admiral at a mixer. Being a supporter of the [[Admiral Doenitz|Doenitz Regime]] and being intelligent and capable, gave him a preferential treatment.

In his role as [[Tactical Officer|Chief Tactical Officer]] aboard the Defender Brian was involved in the destrustion of the [[USS Poseidon]].

After that incident he was captured by the [[USS Amistadt]] during the battle of the [[Canopius System]].

==After the Civil War==

After the [[Federation Civil War]] came to an end, Brian found himself looking for a small research facility somewhere. He was approached once again by now [[Rank|Vice Admiral]] [[Errol Heatherby]] to head up a very special research project on [[Hexikor Prime]].

The Research involved the development of the [[Paratrinic Shield|Paratrinic Shield Generator]], which later came to be used in the development of the [[Omega Device]]. It is suspected that Romeo is involved in the [[Omega Conspiracy]] especially since his name was listed among the documents retreived from [[Station Omega]].
