			Burt Stover was born on Earth over 50 year ago. He had a twin broter named Ernie. Burt and Ernie would spend hours in their childhood, laying on their back, dreaming about serving in Starfleet. Ernie wanted to be a Tactical Officer. Burt wanted to be a Engineer. When they turned 18, Ernie applied to Starfleet Academy and became an officer. Burt applied to be an Enlisted Man, and was given the rank of Crewman Recruit and sent to the Stardock.

	=== ~~First~~ Assignment USS Arnold ===		Stover arrived at Stardock and learned basic engineering skills. The USS Arnold, an Excelsior class ship, arrived and requested 25 Enlisted Engineers. Stover was one of them sent aboard.

The USS Arnold was stuck in a battle with Breen rebels, and the captain ordered the crew abandon ship, while the captain and a few other members of the bridge crew tried a saving run on the Breen ship. The Breen ship easily destroyed the Arnold, however, the primary hull of the Arnold contiuned drifting and hit the Breen ship, destroying it. Stover and the other enlisted men were recovered by the USS Scott, a Miranda class ship.
