After Admiral Heatherby and several noteworthy members of the Irregular Federation Forces (IFF) disappeared, Starfleet declared victory. Shortly thereafter, Tamblyn was again seperating from Starfleet. During the process he signed an affidavit volunteering for the latest incarnation of the Irregular Federation Forces (IFF). As a civilian, he began teaching History and Literature as a Post-Graduate Student at the University of Florida where he continued to work on earning his Masters Degree in History. When the missing ships of the 52nd Fleet re-appeared on 2413.09.23 just as mysteriously as they had vanished; Tamblyn was recalled to active duty by Starfleet.
