She was instrumental in the dissection and analysis of the evolved Subspace River after the Borg initiated part of it's internal coding to gain access to all areas of space. The River has since been found to have a degree of sentience, and is of Founder origin, being a remnant tendril that failed to retract after it was used to seed the four quadrants.

			Her current role is as scientific advisor to the Galactic Cooperative.
