[[Gamok]] is a [[Ferengi]] smuggler who profitted from smuggling during the [[Federation Civil War]].

In 2403, Gamok, was smuggling refugees from [[Andoria]] for extreme rates. Among these individuals was [[Baylon Trinin]] who had until that time been a member of the [[Andorian]] Resistance.

Unknown to many of the individuals that paid for the smuggler's services, Gamok proved to be a duplicitous business man. It was often his habit to turn over his cargo to [[Admiral Doenitz |Doentiz]] loyal [[starship]]s, in return for a sizeable amount of [[latinum]].

It was in this manner, that Baylon was captured by [[Rank|Captain]] [[Auguste Reynard]], commanding the [[USS Larson]]. As a result of this transaction, Baylon spent three days being tortured for information abord the Larson.

Gamok survived the war and made a tidy profit with his smuggling career.
