The [[HER-HUD]] or Hazardous Environment Rebreather and HUD is a specialized piece of [[Starfleet]] equipment used by personnel when operating in Hostile [[planet]]ary environments, where the only real hinderance to said operations is the composition of the atmosphere.

The device is a full face mask, with a built in micro environmental system that filters and regulates the atmosphere provided to the wearer. It contains a micro capsule of triox, which can be released into the bloodstream of the wearer to boost their oxygen intake in the event of a sudden oxygen deficiency or mask breach.
