As a young girl she loved to dance and later look an interest in martial arts and put both together and competed in competitions as a non combatant in weapons handling and performing various kata. Her father died when she was only 12 years old and her mother was killed in an [[Orion]] raid when she was 20. She learned about the tournaments on [[Axtis III ]]and decided to visit the planet and check it out, she enjoyed the lack of technology she found and decided to stay for a while. It was here that she met [[Ben Soma]] and the pair quickly became close, she warned him about [[Kavol]] during a tournament and the [[Nausicaan]] lived up to his reputation by threatening Soma to stay away from her or face the consequences. During the tournament Kavol was murdered and Ben was a suspect, once he was cleared the attention turned to her.
