	Partially Assimilated as a child when her parents’ craft encountered a Borg vessel, her parents were killed. Before her time was complete in a Borg maturation chamber the Sphere she was on was disabled by a Federation vessel, and she was rescued. All the implants that could be removed without killing her were. A number still remained. The counselors on the Starfleet vessel left enough of an impression on her, that even after returning to Earth and living with her Aunt and Uncle in the Indian Subcontinent, she joined Starfleet when she was able and became a counselor. With a Doctorates in Psychology and Sociology, and Certificates from the Diplomatic Corps. She graduated Starfleet Academy Class of 2445. Her previous posting was a Federation Penal colony before being assigned to the Hades.
