	[[Sunali II]] is a remote Federation planet. The Planet is [[Class L]] and located near the Cardassian Border. The planet ~~was once~~ the home of a sizable ~~Human colony that was occupied by the Maquis, however the~~ [[~~Cardassian~~]]~~s employed [[Trilithium Resin]] to make~~ the planet ~~uninhabitable by [[Human]]s in 2389~~.		[[Sunali II]] is a remote Federation planet. The Planet is [[Class M]] and located near the [[Cardassian]] Border. The planet is the home of a sizable [[Human]] colony. The population of the planet numbers approximately 12 billion.

	~~This caused the complete evacuation of the planet.~~		The colony is a strategic point of interest both for the Cardassians and the federation, as it makes an excellent staging point for an invasion of the neighboring territories. As such, it is a mutual demilitarized zone.

	~~During the [[Federation Civil War]]~~ a ~~facility was created here, by a secret faction~~ of the ~~Starfleet Engineers named Omega Station. The Station was employed in the creation~~ and ~~development of a viable and stable creation of~~ the ~~[[Omega Molecule]].~~

	~~This facility continued to function even after the civil war ended with the defeat of President [[Admiral Doenitz\|Rodrigo Doenitz]]. It was believed that there was~~ an ~~underground faction that had been loyal to the militaristic views~~ of the ~~Doenitz regime and that the project would be used to re-establish that regimes power base~~.

	The facility was located and destroyed in 2408 by the [[ISS Rosenante]] and which was aware of the existence of the facility in their own universe. They attacked the facility and stole the deployment device that had been built there.
