	~~Things have been moving along normally since we left~~ the ~~Kozani shipyards. We have been extra vigilant in watching for the spontaneous plasma field storms that caused us such trouble recently~~, ~~but we have also been certain to continue with~~ our ~~survey of sector 6309.<br>~~		The Rosenante has responded to a distress call from the science vessel USS Tesla, upon our arrival we found the ship to be deserted. There was no evidence of a battle or any catastrophic failure aboard the ship. What we did find was a single officer in stasis, a Lieutenant Torell. All the ships systems are currently locked out so we do not know what caused the crew to abandon ship, the fact that all life pods and secondary craft are accounted for only adds to the mystery. I've decided to have Torell revived in the hope that he can tell us what happened to the Tesla.
	~~Recently~~ we ~~detected a freighter at long range scan, which appears~~ to be ~~unmanned~~. As the ~~vessel has since been identified as the [[SS Lalo]], a~~ ship ~~which~~ was ~~stolen by~~ a ~~group of separatists~~, we ~~have decided~~ to ~~investigate.<br>~~
	~~However~~, ~~it does not appear~~ that we are ~~the~~ only ~~Starfleet vessel in~~ the ~~area, as we have now also made contact with the [[USS Boudicca]]~~. 	~~After completing the survey of~~ the ~~damage at the refugee camp on Beta Aquillia IV, I can only be amazed at the relative lack of damage caused by the suicide bombers~~. ~~Despite~~ the ~~fact~~ that ~~they hit the Sickbay and the main security checkpoint with their attacks~~, ~~the casualties were relatively light. <br>~~

	~~To say~~ that the ~~situation has gone from bad~~ to ~~worse would be~~ a ~~significant understatement. With Kenovan's determination to see our alter-egos destroyed coupled with our recent encounter with~~ the ~~Voice and our diminishing timeline~~, I ~~am beginning to~~ feel as if I am going ~~to be overwhelmed by the forces arrayed against us~~.<br>		After completing the survey of the damage at the refugee camp on Beta Aquillia IV, I can only be amazed at the relative lack of damage caused by the suicide bombers. 	~~I suppose that in light~~ of ~~everything though, that sometimes we must endure unexpected calamity~~ and ~~overcome seemingly impossible odds if only to fulfill~~ the ~~moral obligations that wearing~~ the ~~uniform~~ of the ~~federation requires~~<br>		Listen to me. And arguably~~ I ~~agree with it at some level or I would never have agreed~~ to ~~uphold it within~~ my ~~oath as a starfleet Officer~~. ~~Yet at~~ the ~~same time~~, ~~I seem~~ to ~~see it as a flawed mechanism whose reach~~ is ~~too broadly granted and whose strict moral and technical guidelines fail~~ to ~~cover~~ the ~~most basic humanitarian and moral requirements that all sapient creatures living should adhere to~~.<br>		This mission is taking a strain on us all.
