Xanadu Gothos was the [[Class N]] noon that orbits the planet [[Torven III]]. it was the location of a secret base of operations for the notorious pirate and smuggler Doyle O'Banyan.<br />

it was said to be heavily armed and surrounded by a series of satelittes that could cause significant damage to unwanted starships.<br />
<br />
In 2408 the [[USS Rosenante]] visited Gothos to conduct negotiations with O'Banyan to affect the release of the [[Cartenian]] Prince Khamal who had been taken prison by O'Banyan's primary rival [[Morella]] .<br />
<br />
The negotiations were successful and the Rosenante managed to free the prince and return him to [[Arturia Prime]] in time to sign the treace treaty between that planet and [[Meldovia III]] . this ended a 400 year long war and formed the [[Cartenian Commonwealth]].<br />
