The '''52nd Fleet of Starfleet''' is a divison of Starfleet that is currently fighting against the forces of [[Admiral Doenitz]].
== Fleet Operations ==


The sector of space that the 52nd fleet now inhabits is one filled with mysteries and danger. Every part of the 52nd fleet has been moved even further out by way of the [[Subspace river]], to an area of space first defined and noticed by Starfleet Explorers because of a [[Subspace River]] Terminus that forms there, a mystery alone that calls for explanation. The area of space itself is rugged, unknown and inviting. There is evidence of several peoples previously un-encountered, of resources in plenty and mysteries in the deep of space just crying out to be explored.
The 52nd Fleet is a Federation task force that was reformed in 2444 after years of contraction and disbandment. Following the defeat of Admiral Doenitz and his breakaway Starfleet forces, the fleet has been working to restore Federation influence, protect member worlds, and resume exploration missions across the Alpha Quadrant.


Many systems have been probed already and some have shown interesting preliminary results. There is a system at the heart of this sector that has shown power and other industrial indicators although no starships have been able to get to this system thanks to some kind of protection or barrier around it.  
Our fleet assets operate under the leadership of Admiral Remae Ktell from the Mars Defense Perimeter, continuing the rebuilding effort that began after "The Incident" in 2443 and the subsequent civil conflict.


Other systems show more evidence of an advanced species but no sign of them can be found, a through investigation and exploration of this area has been ordered.

[[ Spacedock Phoenix]] is also located in this general area, in a very quiet and secret system filled with radiation and a high degree of asteroids in which to place orbital defence platforms.

The ships of the Star Trek : Freedom fleet each hold on average about 14 people, all of them working together under the watchful eye of their Commanding Officer and First Officer. Although the CO will be in overall charge, the entire crew work together on their mission, each as important as the other, adding their part of the storyline as they go.
