wiped out during a Cardassian War. In a last-ditch effort of desperate
measures, they were sent to defend a Starfleet Outpost, and even after heavy
fighting held the outpost until reinforcements arrived. They elected to stay
together and form a new squad, rather then reform the four that were previously
destroyed.<br>

This squad started as a Combat Engineering squad, and during a particularly
deadly mission the squad was nearly wiped out (including all but one of the
CE's). The squad was repopulated and renamed a general infantry squad, but after
the wipe out, the remaining members renamed the squad to show the inevitability
of Death.<br>
