Bipolar Torch

A Bipolar Torch is the recommended tool to use when cutting through Toranium. (DS9: "The Forsaken")

The tool works by shifting the polarity of it's primary cutting beam very quickly, allowing a quick discharge of pulsing energy that is better capable of cutting difficult or resilient materials.
