Danula II

Danula II is the second planet in the Danula system.

In 2323, the Starfleet Academy marathon was held on Danula II. It was a forty kilometer race, and the winner was Starfleet Academy freshman Cadet Jean-Luc Picard. He was the first freshman to win the race. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II")

Among material created for the Picard family album in Star Trek Generations, which did not appear on screen, was the certificate which declared him the winner of the April 2323 marathon.

Danula II is presumably in Federation space.
