Varn

The Varn are a sentient humanoid species that were assimilated by the Borg sometime around 2390. They originate in the Delta Quadrant. The were betrayed by one of their own kind Volus, who made an arrangement with the Borg Queen.
They are designated Species 6063.
They were a telepathic species and were considered to be on par with the Ullians or Betazoids in that regards.
The only encounter with this species by the United Federation of Planets was through the Borg at Dovek II. There the USS Boudicca and the USS Rosenante encountered Volus who was conducting an operation on behalf of the Borg Collective.
The Varn were first seen in the joint USS Boudicca and USS Rosenante mission Once More Into The Breach
