Trez
Trez is a roman agent of the Romulan Tal'Shiar. He was encountered by members of the crew of the USS Rosenante in 2414, on the planet Beta Aquillia IV.
His purpose for being there, was to uncover the location and connections used to steal Romulan Disruptor pistols from secured Romulan Star Empire fleet depots. He had managed to track the weapons to Beta Aquillia IV, where he discovered that thety were being distributed to the Veil of the Sky, a por-isolationist faction. The weapons had, in fact already been used to successfully overthrow the legitimate government of that world.
Fearing Federation response to the incursion, Trez, who had now infiltrated the group over a year prior, was instructed to discover the identity of the people responsible for the delivery of the weapons. This brought him into contact with the crew of the Rosenante.
It is interesting to note that Trez, although Romulan, was cosmetically altered to appear Aquillian. He had used some sort of memory implant device to allow him to seamlessly incorporate himself into the life of his cover. In fact, the very name Trez, is Aquillian and the actual name of the Romulan agent remains unknown.
