[[Trez]] is a roman agent of the [[Romulan Tal Shiar|Romulan Tal'Shiar]]. He was encountered by members of the crew of the [[USS Rosenante]] in 2414, on the [[planet]] [[Beta Aquillia IV]].

His purpose for being there, was to uncover the location and connections used to steal [[Romulan]] Disruptor pistols from secured [[Romulan Star Empire]] fleet depots. He had managed to track the weapons to Beta Aquillia IV, where he discovered that thety were being distributed to the [[Veil of the Sky]], a por-isolationist faction. The weapons had, in fact already been used to successfully overthrow the legitimate government of that world.
