| That had been the length of time that they had been stuck inside the Harvester. During that time they had lost 18 crew members, pulled off the impossible and managed to forge an alliance that had allowed them all to escape.

| 10 days....

| It had taken the Rosenante 10 entire days to return back to their own stellar neighborhood. Traversing the subspace river with an underpowered primary navigational deflector had been worrisome, as he had no way of knowing if the system would be able to open enough of a exit point once they reached their destination.

| Still, it seemed that Luck and Allah were on their side as the modified Rosenante managed to exit the subspace river without much difficulty.

| The last two days had been spent in Normal space headed towards Geneva Station. To the relief of the ship's crew and her Captain they were coming home.

| 3 months....

| |
| That was the length of time that Starfleet engineering at Geneva Station estimated the repairs would take. Of course they hadn't actually had an opportunity to SEE the Rosenante yet, they were going completely from conjecture.

| Ahmed looked up from his reports to see the glittering star that was Geneva Station shining in the background. It was late on Alpha shift and the captain was taking his usual duty shift on the bridge rather than in his ready room or in his quarters.

| There was a lot of things to arrange, including a meeting with A couple of members of Starfleet Engineering command and a face-to-face with admiral Talbot.

| ''"Captain we're being hailed by Geneva,"'' Someone said.
| |
|
| |
| Ahmed nodded and handed his Report PADD to one of his Yeomen.
| |
|
| |
| ''"On screen"'' he ordered and watched as the image of a distant Geneva Station was replaced by the image of the Station's Yard Officer.

| |
| ''^Captain Salid, welcome back.^'' the Efrosian commander said once the channel had been established.
| |

| |
| ''"Thank you Commander Lavil, it's good to be home."''
| |

| |
| The Efrosian nodded before continuing, ''^ yes it is indeed.^'' He replied.
| |
| There was a slight hesitation, before he continued. ''^ I've been led to believe that you chopped up a good portion of your forward hull captain, as well as cracked your starboard impulse reactor and that you require significant overhaul and recalibration of your Navigational deflector and Spiral Geometry drive. Is that correct?^''

| ''"Fundamentally, I'm afraid, "'' Ahmed replied, ''"There's a lot more to it than that, but those are the basic facts."''

| ''^I see.^'' Lavil said with a frown, ''^ well, for repairs of that extent we'll have to place your ship in one of the repair yard docks. We can't handle the repairs at the central bay.^''

| Ahmed nodded, ''"That's completely understandable. I have all the engineering reports for your repair teams ready to be turned over as well."''

| |
| Lavil nodded then reached up and twirled his white mustachio between his right forefinger and thumb.

| |
| ''"Which repair bay should we head for?"'' Ahmed asked.

| |
| ''^ I've scheduled you for Repair Bay 2.^'' the commander replied, ''^ and I've blocked out a period of three months to conduct your repairs.^''

| ~Three months.~ Ahmed thought that was a good estimate, although he wouldn't be surprised if it took longer.

| |
| ''"Sounds good. Are we clear to dock?"''
| |
|
| |
| ''^ You are captain Salid, and again welcome home.^''
| |
|
| |
| The communication closed and was replaced by a much larger image of Geneva station.

| ''"Mister Dralar, slow us to port speeds and bring us about for docking with Repair bay 2, Dock number 1"''

|
| |
| ''"Aye captain."'' The Skorr Helmsman replied, then tapped out the commands on his console that would fulfill the orders that the captain had just given.

| Ahmed turned to his First officer.
| |
|
| |
| ''"Mister Caskie, Let's make arrangements for all personnel to take shore leave. Mister Raschen and Mister Sullivan are to be placed on Extended leave. Mister Janeway and Martinovich have received their transfer orders and are authorized to depart the ship as soon as we are securely docked. All other personnel are to be placed on Rotating leave."''

| Ahmed looked back up at the main view screen. The Repair bay for Dock 1 loomed dead ahead, it's mechanical grappling fingers open as if waiting for the ship to slip into it's trap. Soon they'd be wrapped around the Rosenante and the repairs could begin.
