==Vessel Specification==
==Vessel Specification==

Most starships that are used for Special Service Vessels are based on the freighter or transport specifications. These starships have been designed and built from the hull up as a special service vessel rather than just taking an existing freighter hull and changing it into a special service vessel. This makes the vessels tougher and more likely to survive any confrontation as the vessel hull has ablative armour added during its construction rather then added on afterwards. It also makes it easier to install a range of hidden shipboard weapons system that can be activated at an moment’s notice to surprise an unsuspecting prates vessels. Most vessels irrespective of size uses defiant class components in their construction to make them survivable during combat.
Most starships that are used for Special Service Vessels are based on the freighter or transport specifications. The merchantman design is the most widely used due to the large amount of merchantman being used across the alpha and beta quadrants. There are other hull designed used for the Gamma quadrant. This makes the vessels tougher and more likely to survive any confrontation. It also makes it more easier to install its tactical and weapons system along with status chambers for the captured pirates. The [[Free Booster Class]] is the latest design to be fitted into the merchantman hull.
